How to prepare the first consultation
The first meeting is to see whether there is a case, which path lies, and what is needed. It is not a judgment. If you arrive with the papers in order, you leave with a route. If you arrive with the story only, time is lost.
What to send or bring
A one-page summary: facts, dates, what you seek, who the other party is. Copies of contracts, complaints, orders, tutelas, charges, deeds, or notes. Notices and deadlines (the stamp or the receipt email). What you already answered, or failed to answer.
Do not send third-party data that is not needed. Do not send passwords or full bank statements on WhatsApp unless they are asked for.
What you may expect
An honest reading: whether the matter belongs in this practice (civil and commercial, constitutional, administrative, real estate, discipline) or should go to another professional (criminal, labor, purely notarial family work, and so on).
No outcome is guaranteed. There is a strategy, deadlines, and a way of working. Fees are discussed clearly before the brief is accepted.
